Terry Stevens: ​Bucked in the Yarn

The unlikely and incredible story of a small collection of Somerset villages whose residents contributed to exploration, trade and travel around the world and created a new global standard of sailcloth – the unmatched Coker Canvas.

Terry Stevens is originally from East Coker and a pupil at the old Yeovil Grammar School. Although living in Swansea he regularly returns to Yeovil as a life-time supporter of the Glovers and as a Trustee of the Coker Rope & Sail Trust (the group that has successfully restored the Dawes Twineworks in West Coker.)

This event is taking place in Wheeldon Suite 1.
