Celia Imrie: Meet Me at Rainbow Corner

An entertaining afternoon with award-winning actress and author Celia Imrie, star of such classic films as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and soon to be seen in Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club. Celia is also a familiar face from her many stage and TV appearances.

She will be talking about her long and distinguished life in acting and her latest novel, Meet Me at Rainbow Corner, inspired by the resilience and camaraderie of women during the Second World War. Together with Fidelis Morgan, the book’s researcher, and with the help of letters and photos from the time, she will delve into the back ground of her heart-warming novel, where a group of courageous women find themselves working alongside GI soldiers, forging bonds that transcend borders and defying the ravages of war.
