Directions to Somerset

Somerset is a county in South West England. Somerset borders the counties of Bristol and Gloucestershire to the north, Wiltshire to the east, Dorset to the south-east, and Devon to the south-west. Yeovil is a major town in South Somerset.

Visiting Our Venues

Westlands Entertainment Venue is sign posted into the town of Yeovil, located in the centre of town.

By Car

The Octagon Theatre: The postcode for The Octagon Theatre is BA20 1UX. Petters Way car park is opposite the theatre and Goldenstones car park is a 5 minute walk away behind the theatre. Charges apply in these town centre car parks. There are a small number of parking bays and disabled parking bays directly outside the theatre on a first come first served basis. Please do not park at Albert Goodman or in the Livingstone Textiles car park.

Westlands Entertainment Venue: The postcode for Westlands Entertainment Venue is BA20 2DD. For some of our events the car park can fill up. Please allow plenty of time before the show to find alternative parking. A good alternative is Huish car park which is a 15 minute walk away. Please do not park in Westbourne Grove and surrounding roads as it causes inconvenience to local residents whose support the Venue enjoys.

By Train

The nearest train station is Yeovil Pen Mill, located just outside the town centre, served by our Travel Partner Great Western Railway. The station has good links with Bristol, London and Weymouth as well as many smaller nearby towns. The railway station is located within a 20-minute walk from The Octagon Theatre and 25-minute walk from Westlands, Yeovil Junction is located just outside the town with bus links into the town centre.

By Bus

Yeovil Town Bus Station is about a 15 minute walk from our venues. In addition bus stops are located in and around the town.
